Dumbrell homes in on Winton Raceway Print

The Bottle-O Racing Team driver Paul Dumbrell is back on home hunting ground this weekend as the V8 Supercar Series heads to Winton, Victoria.

The 3km circuit has a long history with V8 Supercars and has hosted many memorable races in the past. Dumbrell enjoyed success at last year's Winton round, qualifying 5th before going on to finish Sunday's big race in 4th position. His experience, combined with the fighting fit Bottle-O Falcon puts him in an excellent position for this year's event.

Drivers will face a good challenge at Winton this year with 2 races across the weekend. The first race on Saturday holds 120km and presents 40 laps for drivers to make their mark. Sunday will require a different strategy, with a longer 200km race on offer.

Pressure wll be fierce as drivers battle for supremacy in the hunt for Championship Points. Dumbrell currently has 708 Championship Points and is keen to secure more points at Winton and get back into the top 10.

Friday practice sessions begin at Winton from 9am with qualifying to follow on Saturday.
