Expectations run high for Clipsal |

Hopes are high that Paul Dumbrell can continue his strong start to the season and deliver another good result at Clipsal this week for the Bottle-O Racing Team.
Dumbrell faces a tough challenge, with 2 x 78 lap races scheduled across Saturday and Sunday. Adding to the degree of difficulty is the Adelaide street circuit, where drivers require extra caution to avoid tangling with the concrete walls.
In the 2009 V8 Supercar season Dumbrell impressed by qualifying for the Clipsal round in 6th position. The team will be ideally positioned for a successful race if he can repeat or better that performance this weekend.
The rest of the field will not make it easy for Dumbrell, with every team focussed on getting the most from qualifying. It may only be the start of the season, but teams have already sharpened car performance to deliver lean lap times and Dumbrell will need to make the most of every opportunity.
The Bottle-O Racing Team has made a remarkably fast adjustment to the 2010 season with the #55 Bottle-O Falcon showing top competitive pace in the opening rounds. Dumbrell has also made a relatively smooth transition to a change in team and car, quickly establishing himself as one of the drivers to watch in the 2010 season.
The Clipsal round begins with practice sessions this Friday, followed by Qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday. A second qualifying session and 78 lap race will be held on Sunday.
