Tough going in Race 1 for Dumbrell |

The #55 Bottle-O Falcon was left worse for wear after a punishing race in Bahrain today where the team finished 27th. The car carried damage in the opening lap and as a result Dumbrell was unable to hold a position near the front.

The Bottle-O Racing Team has qualified in 20th position for the start of Race 1 in Bahrain. The qualifying session and earlier practice sessions were made difficult by minor mechanical problems that the team worked hard to address.

Two-time V8 Supercar Development Series Champion Dean Canto has signed to drive alongside Paul Dumbrell in The Bottle-O Racing Falcon in this year's endurance events. Canto, 29, is one of V8 Supercar's most experienced co-drivers and in signing to partner Dumbrell in the Ford Performance Racing run Falcon, extends a two-year association with the Ford factory team.
